Everyone of us are occupied with our day today activities. Stress and pain is part of life. We get some free time and we were not able to reflect ourselves and we look out for solutions. Most of the time we try not make ourselves free. In this case meditating or reflecting our life is tough.
I always tried meditating everyday for some time but couldn't schedule my time. Downloaded multiple apps on my mobile still no use of it.

Then this book caught my eye. All my life I had an assumption that meditation is done sitting quiet and reflecting. But there was no proper guidance. Many books and apps will give the technique but no proper reflection can be done.
I am reading the second book of Shubha Villas and I think author made a point to have reflection on everyone.
You can start this book at any chapter or any time of the day. Every chapter will enlighten you with one or other aspect of life. Total 64 chapters can be read quickly. After every chapter Author will give the short reflections.

Most of time author takes examples from Mahabharata and Ramayana which make easy to understand. Simple language is used to describe the life and everyday activities. Open Eyed Meditation the Book title is justified when you start reading the book.
Author has the unique quality of describing the life story. He do not judge the situation or mislead you on any situation. Author let you to make your own decisions through this book. When you start reading the book you are the master of your life and you have the power over your imaginations. Some point you just get enlightened with your situation. As it is said ' you are only responsible for your happiness and sadness.'  Today everyone want a peaceful life. This book helps you to trigger your senses and make the decisions.
There is one chapter " Can I change without Changing?" which help me to understand the change in life. The reflection author give is " .....Changes can be external or internal... To accept the outside change with grace is a sign of maturity..." This what makes this book special. Every chapter every page filled with wisdom.  This is the Open Eyed Meditations.

Verdict:
Book for everyday life. Everyone of us need have copy and read when you get time. Mixer of spiritual and philosophy. One who looking at reflecting on his life then its the right book.

Optimism and hope for the future #lookup

The way you take it! I would like to tell another inspiration which I had experienced in my life.

As my daily habit of taking a jog at park in the evening. There are very interesting people around you. Few people smile back some greet as they know me by seeing daily. I never chatted with anyone there.
One fine day while taking jog at park I found one interesting guy. He is in his early 20’s . I was tired after 10 round of Jog found a bench and sat next to the particular person. I just greeted him and sat next to him. I was just relaxing myself on the bench.
I felt like I need to talk to him and introduced myself and so he did back. There was so much sadness in his face. I further gone ahead and stated to inquiry about him. Then he started his story.
He have job to distribute Newspaper in the morning, in the evening he will at any crowded area and distributing pamphlets.
Well at that moment there was big question in my mind that such a waste of young energy.
I asked him “Kiran don’t you go to college?”  There was slight sad smile on his face. He explained that he was a School dropout. Previously he worked at a small hotel as waiter and now he is distributing paper. He is daily income is Rs. 200- 300.
I did not spot there I was still interested to know his story “who all are in your family?”
“I live alone here came to earn money, my mother and sister who is still studying, both stay at village. Because of my father death our small farm taken away by the people who lend us money. We have no money to repay back even though it is not huge” I felt tears in his eye.
It was obvious that he came to earn money but my question was why did he left his previous job he could have continued that and could have earned good money and asked so.
Sometime by asking some questions we recall the bad memory, with great sadness he started “They blamed me for stealing money! I am ready to do anything but I did not steal the money. They few waiter were aware of my story one of the experienced waiter did and no one believed me. I had to quit from there as I cannot stop working. If I do then who will take care of me and my sister?” Now he completely broke in to tears, I was in no situation to tell anything, He continued “Now found this job where now I get some food and money, there are so many people like me starving daily, I am bit lucky”
I couldn't say anything to it. It was going to be little late and said “Sir, let me take a leave now. I came here just for a relaxation, Thank you for hearing my pain. I know now have nothing but I promised myself that one day there will be.”
I was really impressed by the person I met unexpectedly. I always thought I am the only one who struggling in life. By listening to this person I felt that the happiness in nowhere it is inside every one of us. We need to learn to get satisfied what we have and never lose the hope.
Optimism in life is important, when you add hope to it then there is nothing can stop you from achieving your goal. Always #lookup in life.

Real...! What is it?

Go to a shop seek for the original material. without trade mark we will not buy anything. When it comes to human being, Where is our trade mark? Who is real person? What is the ISO standards for human being?  What is original to be? I never go and think of these stuff. Because I am busy? Because I do not want to know? Because I am original ?

Life is very pure, one life for life time live it with honesty, our profession will not matter but our honesty matters. We ask for one opportunity to get fulfilled and to get that we forget our originality?
In life there are many chances we get to know that we are original or fake. Its only maters how audience know what you are? Just a thought I would like to share, we want to reach high in our life time. May be its money, fame, simplicity, rich, or at least we want to achieve our dreams and to reach the goal which is already set by us. In life's journey we become slave of our dreams. Try something original which not imitating anyone. To be something, first take step to be original in life. It will give real essence of life.

In to happiness...!

There is always a need of something in life. Whatever we do whatever we feel whatever search off sometimes we won't get it right. One great person said when everything is on the right you need to be on the left. I always speak about one thing whatever we do in our life it should give us happiness, and that happiness we can not express, we can not share or we can not feel sometime.
Everyone in this world want happiness and want to feel it. and we need to have that luck or in other words we need have the GOD's grace to get it in our life. Today we go in search of happiness? I say find it in yourself its there in you. Look at the space(sky) there is no limit to it, then why do I have the limit? Why do I put boundary around me? Why do I imagine that happiness is this or that? or why do I do not feel  it in me?
Give a pause to yourself...!
Now start thinking that am I really happy? or I simply put a face of happiness?
Until we realise it we ca not proceed and we always in search of happiness. I suggest one remedy for all of this build a thought process to relax yourself and you will have your happiness. :)

Hit by inside Edge..!

I was just sitting and thinking myself suddenly this Thing strike in my mind "Where I am?" Its not only the question, but it mean lot more.. Today I feel like totally a zero, i did not do any achievement. After loosing my subject what I did? Nothing totally zero.! I become a burden to this earth. Now am feeling the value of one year, friends who with today some working and some doing their higher education but me? Where I am today? I am no where now.. To get back everything I need to pay a lot for it. It's not simple to regain the lost year it’s not at all possible. Now me struggling to get seat for my higher education because I did not take my studies seriously I feel like I wasted my one year life. I wana cry but I can not. I wana say my feelings but I get no one. I wana hit my head to wall but I feel pain a lot.

The one year give me a wonderful lesson to me. In my whole life I can not forget the year. I always have been positive thinker. I know how hard to be positive. When I lost my subject friends felt sorry for me, relatives winked, some said good and some ok it happens. But tell you it not the same feeling till the end because I am the looser and no one like a looser. In this world if u win and win then all will respect you praise you and everyone will come to you.. If anyone come to know that u gona be get a single negative points then look at around you. Same way happened in my life. But you should not disrespect yourself. Your the only who know u very well than anyone could. Win or loose i never let myself down in my eyes. I dono how it looks but it’s a truth.

I was a social butterfly but when u have minus marks then its very hard to be socialize. Even I stopped myself to the maximum extend.

At home is to get maximum Negligence the one who know he only can understand this.

And your loved ones they always advice you to get better and better. One year i spent like a despo. When u needs anyone the most no one will be there. Because everyone having their own tension and life.. That time you feel like hell. U will remember the days when u was good with everyone. You will remember time u had lots of fun and tears will fill your eyes still u can not cry..

These are the worst feelings i had in my one year.

What I gained is increased my will power, learned the nature of people how they change the color, Learned not to complaint for anything in life and off course being at home learned to cook very well..

At last all I want to say is simple in life you will get many up and downs so never be worried because life has unique style so be patience, Help everyone who is needy, and most important is see the past and live the present, keep in mind that you can not go back and change your past only you can do is start a new beginning and cherish your life.

Follow Your Basic Instinct....

Your mother knew what she talking about when she told you to trust your instincts. Whether it's about quitting your job, buying a new car, relocating to another place or city or just dumping your girlfriend. You've probably spent innumerable hours pondering the pros and cons of your decision... Only to take some decisive action, which unfortunately has been wrong one! With big time egg on your face, you've wondered about the uselessness of thinking at all and berated yourself for listening to your instinct(and mother too!). And you really couldn't be closer to the truth.
If research is to be believed, instinctive snap decisions are more reliable than decisions take using higher level cognitive processes. Says Dr. Li Zhaoping, of the department of psychology at the University college London, "The conscious function of the brain actively vetoes our initial subconscious decision, even when the latter is correct, leaving us unaware and distrustful of our instincts." that would explain why we go into alcoholic binges, drug overdoses, chain smoking, parallel relationships, abusive behavior etc, in spite of knowing - instinctively- that what we doing is wrong.
Very often, our gut feel is screaming out that we should stop in our tacks and not indulge in potentially harmful actions. but we blithely go ahead only to hang our heads in confused dejection later. According to psychiatrist Dr. Harish Shetty, most of us believe in our instinct but very few of us actually listen and pay heed to it. he explains, " Instinct is a broad term as it's a combination of basic urge and a higher form of understanding that is beyond logic. You could call instinct logic on fast track! When the basic urge overwhelms us, we lose our sense of balance and logic. That's when we do what we are habituated to as it's more pleasurable. Thats not true instinct. That's bowing to one's hormones..."

Generally, our instinct - or inner voice and subconscious mind - and our thinking are at war with each other. And that's when our rational mind comes in the way of our listening to our inner voice. States Dr. Anjali Chhabira, a consultant psychiatrist and psychotherapist, " Our learned behavior comes in the way of our paying heed to our instinct. Things like guilt, fear responsibilities, duties, expectations, etc, have to be factored in, which makes us ignore our inner voice." You instinctively know that buying the latest multi-featured mobile phone will not only burn a hole in your pocket but will also be of not much use to you, yet you go ahead and make that purchases. Why? Because you think your peers expect you to flaunt the latest gadget. That's your conscious mind stonewalling your inner voice. Or you may know that indulging in a one-night stand is neither really you and nor is it sign of fidelity, yet you dive between sheets. Why?That's because your basic urge takes over, tells your instinct to mind its own business as the task at hand is far more pleasurable than momentary abstinence. As Dr. Shetty says, "Whether we pay heed to our instinct or not depends on our state of mind." So if instant gratification is need of the hour, then you just down the shutters on your inner voice.

Instinct is inborn, but it needs to be developed. Your conscious mind has to be consciously free and alert to listen to your inner voice, your subconscious. So just suspend thinking for a while and listen to what your instinct says... you may not land up With pie on your face often!

Dying In Love...???

Last week one engineer fellow committed suicide in the hostel room (SJEC). Another person took Poison and now fighting with life and death in the hospital at udupi.
These two incidence really inspired me to write this Post.
In this both case the guys died for their love.. my question is there need to die in love. Its really good that dying for love.. whatever it is from Last 3yrs i came across many of my friends and other who are suffering from this love decease . Especially in many cases guys suffering more.. And I've seen many of my friends lost their sleep some become out of their mind. many of them are addicted to smoke drinking drugs etc.
I do love one girl and when it comes to her, she is everything to me. It really hurts when someone we love so much leave us alone and go. But is it your love loose towards her/him? Is there anything wrong in love? answer is NO. When your love doesn't decrease then why you thinking about dying? because you Think that you lost her/him and you can not meet her again. so here comes the point that when u come to know there is no way to get her/him, you loose your mind and you do these things....
1) You try all the sequences to get her/him.
2) You take revenge on her/him.
3) You go helpless and you think of give end to your life.
4) You Think that your not worth for her/him.
5) You will be try to be happy in your loved ones happiness.
6) You will never dare to love anyone in future unless you get Mr/Miss right for you.
etc.....
Like this people will do many different things. But in all of these more dangerous is taking revenge on her/him or ending his/hr life by committing suicide.
Here my question is If you commit suicide or take revenge is there any meaning to your love? you loved him/her with whole your heart that time you take him/her as your sweetheart. if the persons time going bad anything will happen. in case in any condition he/she leaves you don't be sad or desperate. i know its easy to say, but its hard to follow. i tell you give a challenge to your self and prove that your are something and there is no one good other than you in any ways..
that time who left you alone in you life should realize and feel how unlucky they to loose you.
and its true that you also lost and suffered for that time only give answer. who knows in life's journey someone right is there for you. or someone you want come back to you..

But people don't go so depressed and make unforgivable mistake in your life. and for that you will not get another chance to come back..
whatever may be the condition face it. if you not enough stronger to face just accept it as it is...
1 minute anger or depression will take your 60 second happiness away and who know it will make you pay whole your life for that....

If you really more depressed or thinking that u want to end your life just mail me or leave comments here.. i will try to help u in depressed life...
